We at TrashBack have noticed the value in allowing the opportunity to experience the many beautiful sights and activities that are available around Cape Town. For example, many of our participants in Imizamo Yethu have never had the chance to leave Hout Bay, so outreach activities, and even the journey there, provide a highly valued and rewarding experience.

Thus far we have been taking participants to the Cheetah Outreach on the Spier wine estate in Stellenbosch. Cheetah Outreach promotes “the survival of the free ranging, South African cheetah through environmental education and delivering conservation initiatives”. It’s a really great initiative, and we are proud to be a part of it.
